We recently had Salem-Heritage out to restore our windows in our 82 year old home which sits in an historic district in Charlotte. To say that we are happy with the results from the owner and his team would be an understatement.

None of the original windows in our house worked properly. 8 of them were sealed shut and painted over, and the ones that were not sealed shut the rope and pulley mechanism did not work. Enter Salem-Heritage who came through with their professional team and restored our windows to perfect working condition. This included getting rid of the 82 year old lead weights, new ropes, removing years of paint buildup and fixing rotted wood sills.

Communication with the owner and his team was exceptional. Scheduling was easy and the cost breakdown was laid-out in a easy to read breakdown.

You can tell that the owner is passionate about his company, as the owner he was here working on the windows with his team. He has a high standard that he sets for everyone at Salem-Heritage which they achieve every step of the way.

Finding someone to restore rope and pulley windows was difficult at first because of the uniqueness of the business but I am very happy that we found Salem-Heritage and I can not recommend them enough for anyone looking to restore windows, and charm, to their home.
